The 4-Week VO2 Max Challenge

A PRACTICAL SYSTEM FOR MAINTAINING OUTPUT WHEN FATIGUE BUILDS

The 4-Week VO2 Max Challenge

Train your ability to keep producing when fatigue, breathing limitations and repeated hard efforts start to pile up.

A four-week guided challenge for serious hybrid and endurance athletes who already train consistently but want to handle demanding efforts with more control.

Complements—not replaces—your existing training.

86.8

Personal performance reference: Chase Stevenson has personally tested at a VO2 max of 86.8. Not a customer promise.

01 / The problem

When the effort gets hard, output falls apart.

You can be training consistently, completing your intervals and doing everything your program asks of you, yet still feel your output fall apart when the effort gets hard.

Your breathing changes. Fatigue starts to build. One hard effort runs into the next, and suddenly you are spending more time trying to regain control than focusing on the work in front of you.

More training is not always the answer. Sometimes the missing piece is learning how to respond when the pressure starts to build.

Driver

Composure + control

Build the capacity. Train the response.

02 / The opportunity

A structured way to work on it

The 4-Week VO2 Max Challenge gives you a structured way to work on that.

Each week, you will focus on a different part of the method, apply it to your training and bring your questions and observations to the live group call.

The goal is not to replace your current training or promise a particular VO2 max score. It is to help you understand your response to hard efforts and make better decisions when fatigue and discomfort increase.

03 / Who it is for

Built for athletes already doing the work.

This is for serious hybrid and endurance athletes, including runners, triathletes, HYROX athletes and strength athletes who train consistently and expect a lot from their bodies. It is especially relevant if you:

Lose output as repeated high-intensity efforts accumulate

Struggle to manage breathing when the pace increases

Feel that fatigue arrives before your effort should be over

Want a structured system instead of adding random extra work

Are willing to follow the process and track what you notice

This is not designed for someone looking for a generic beginner workout plan or a fully individualized daily training program.

This program is intended for adults who are able to participate safely in breath-hold and physical training. Review the safety information and consult a qualified medical professional if you are unsure whether this work is appropriate for you.

04 / What is included

Over four weeks, you will receive:

01

Four progressive weekly lessons

02

Practical worksheets and implementation tasks

03

One live group coaching call each week

04

Call recordings for every weekly session

05

Access to the private community during and after the four-week experience

06

Technical support from Chase and operational support inside the community

Community questions will be answered within 24 hours where possible. Technical questions about the exercises and VO2-related work will be answered by Chase. Logistical questions will be handled by the operator.

05 / Founding cohort

The first live cohort is limited to 20 athletes.

This is the first time The 4-Week VO2 Max Challenge is being delivered live as a structured group experience.

The limit is real because the program includes weekly live group coaching, community support and active observation of participant feedback.

Founding participants receive the complete four-week experience, live calls, recordings, worksheets, lessons and continued access to the program materials after Week 4. They also help shape future improvements through their feedback and implementation experience.

06 / Why Chase

Not built from theory alone.

Chase did not build this from theory alone.

He went from working a desk job to competing at the highest level of HYROX in a relatively short period of time. Along the way, he studied breathwork, worked with experienced breathwork coaches and built his own system around breathing, fatigue and performance under pressure.

His recent race results and verified performance data will be shown here as proof. Personal performance results are not promises of what every participant will achieve.

“I've been wearing my Whoop since 2019, and my resting heart rate was super low, never had been that low, and that was like after the first day of doing it.”

07 / Four-week structure

One focus each week.

Week 1

Apnea Training

Build the foundation and learn how to approach the work safely and deliberately.

Week 2

Nervous System Regulation

Learn the geared breath approach and how it fits into the broader method.

Week 3

Heat Training

Add the next part of the system and understand how to apply it alongside your existing training.

Week 4

CO2 Tolerance and Zone 2

Bring the method together and understand how this work connects with your aerobic training.

Each week follows the same rhythm: complete the lesson, do the assigned work, track your observations and bring your questions to the live call.

MEMBER PORTAL

All four weekly lessons, worksheets, live call details, call recordings, and the private community are organized inside one simple member portal. Start with the current lesson, complete the accompanying worksheet, join the weekly call, and return to the portal whenever you need to review a lesson or recording.

Safety is part of the protocol.

Apnea and breath-hold work must be approached responsibly. Members must review the safety information before participating and follow all environmental and stop instructions.

  • Have another person present for the first attempt whenever possible
  • Use a safe, open, soft, ground-level environment
  • Never perform the exercises in or near water

10 / The practice

You already put the work in.

The point of this challenge is to help you get more from that work when the session becomes uncomfortable and your usual response is no longer enough.

You will have a clearer process to follow, a place to bring your questions and four weeks of structured implementation instead of trying to piece everything together on your own.

11 / Questions before you apply
